I get a lot of Dinging sounds on my Softbox(Notifications)

I performed the Over the Air Update, but still have no Apps on my Softbox

Connect your Softbox to a different TV and try the Update again.  Some TVs block the update.  Once you have completed the update you can then connect your Softbox to your original TV.


When I tried the Over the Air Update, I received an Error during the download process.

You may have run out of room on your Softbox.  Click on the 3 dots at the top right. Choose “View Downloaded ROMS”  then click on the 3 dots at the top right.  Choose “Delete old Files” Then choose “1 week”.  Then retry the download.  If this does not work then perform a Factory reset on the box before you perform the update.  Factory Reset


 

 Softbox is working fine,  but Nothing is playing. (no streams available)

Are you on the internet? Go to Google in the Browser(in the Apps) and see if a web page can be displayed.
Run a Speed test using Fast in your Apps in the 9 Squares
Try a different stream
You may be trying to watch something that does not exist.

Make sure that you have the newest update by Updating Softbox.

 


 Softbox is working fine but when I open an App and it stops at a black screen or just takes me back to my home screen.

Go to App in the 9 squares(apps). Hold down the Ok button on the App- choose Force Stop, and then Clear Cache.

 Softbox is frozen. Nothing moves on the screen when I press the arrows on the remote.

First make sure you did not accidentally press the Mouse button on your remote. Press it once and try pushing the arrow buttons. Press it again if this does not fix the issue

Unplug the power to the Softbox and then plug it back in.


The Softbox makes my TV turn off.

Softbox 4k and Softbox 4k pro:

Go to the Gears(settings),  Go to “Common” then “More Settings” then”Hdmi CEC” and turn it on or off.

With some newer TVs you may have to contact manufacturer to find how to change the CEC setting on your TV.

Softbox:

On Softbox go to the Gears(settings) and go to advanced. Choose CEC control. Turn it on or off, and see if this fixes the issue.

I have no sound on my Softbox.

You may have chosen a link or channel that does not have audio. Try a different link.
Make sure the volume is turned up on you Remote for the Softbox. Make sure your volume is turned up on your remote for the TV.  Unplug the power to your TV for 5 minutes then plug it back in.

Unplug the power to your Softbox.  Try changing HDMI cords, and try plugging the Softbox in to a different Hdmi port.

Softbox 4k and Softbox 4k Pro:

Go to the gears(Settings), Go to “Audio Settings”, and play with the settings there.

Softbox:

Go to the gears(Settings), Advanced, and play with the Sound Settings.
